Romance Is An Endangered Species

Suggested listen: Pearl Brothers - ようこそ!ひとりぼっち

The 20th card in a tarot deck is named “the devil”. It symbolizes acquiescing to vices and/or obsessions, patterns. Most designs have two human figures chained to each other and/or directly to the devil itself. Depending on one’s spiritual beliefs, everyone can have a different perception towards the concept of evil. To me it emerges from the duality of actions. Each deed can be good or bad depending on the circumstances. I won’t delve too much into it but think of any act and I would argue you can come up with scenarios that it’s the right thing to do but also ones that it’s the wrong thing to do. So I guess it’s fair to say evil is a misplaced/mistimed action. I find the tarot interpretation quite interesting because it emphasizes the desperation aspect. Indeed evil wants to hold power on you. Because it’s only effective if you give in.

Throughout known history, as far as we know at the moment, there were always people who seeked power and got it, greatly. I’m not sure what drives these people so strongly. But it’s clear that they gave in. If you seek power over another person, or rather a living being, it means you gave in to evil. What makes it even more dangerous is that misery loves company. People who seek power over others tend to collaborate as long as their conflict of interests allow them to. It’s now common knowledge that people in power are involved in organised sex trafficking of very young children over centuries and centuries. Even the 20th century was an awful duration of time when it comes to this stomach-turning atrocity. Most politicians and the rich seem to be involved in it. Infamous Epstein files remind us they are just as bad now, in case you forgot.

No matter how sick you are, there cannot be anything sexual about a child’s body. I would argue this fiendish people do not find young physique attractive. It’s just more power for them and nothing more. These are the people that openly had slaves back then. They still do, economically, politically, militarily, jurisdictionly. It was never about us suffering. It’s always about them causing hurt. These people just cannot exist unless someone pays attention to them 7/24. They need constant reaction for their acts. Being in control and taking control from others is the only thing that pleases them and they cannot take their hand off their pants.

Whether you believe in psyops is irrelevant. Either way I’m sure you can notice romantic relationships took a huge hit over the last decade. I’m not just talking about divorce rates. People are constantly complaining about dating. Each gender lost respect for the other. Romance is off the table. The dating scene overall got corrupted across the globe. Being able to construct meaningful relationships is harder than ever. Call it a conspiracy theory but I truly believe this is intended. It’s another power move to make the general public weaker. If you look at people struggling with addiction, you always find an underlying reason for their habits. People that have meaningful, fulfilling relationships don't feel the need to do hard drugs. People that have a shoulder to cry on, do not tranquillisers off streets even though it makes their skin fall off. Loved ones give you a reason to get up in the morning and take good care of yourself. They just don’t want you to have one. So that they can hold more power on you. Sell more things to you. Abuse your attention, time, mental health, integrity.

If you truly cared about yourself, your lover, your parents, your friends, your neighbours, your colleagues, elderly, young, you would be able to create a better future. In that future, everyone would be free. No more chains. No more cowardly fiends. No more sinister faced politicians. No more incavated so-called artists. Life wouldn’t be this complicated. You wouldn’t feel this alone. You wouldn’t need to figure it out all alone. Your bed wouldn’t be that cold when you get into it on a winter night. You would never drink alone. You would not be this afraid. But they don’t want you to. If you’re not alone, not afraid, then they no longer have control over you.

Surely life is not a problem to be solved. But why does it feel like that lately? You noticed it too, didn’t you? It used to be simple. We used to be all together even if we were not that fond of each other. It's just that you have less resistance when you’re all by yourself. So they made you alone. When the public agrees on a subject, governments and media suddenly lose control over it. So they made sure we didn't agree on anything. Call it divide and conquer, call it polarization, call it information bubbles, doesn’t matter. They just want conflict to arise at every opportunity so we get lonelier and lonelier, so that we can lose more and more control over things, over our lives, so that they can gain more and more control over things and our lives.

The thing we call life can hold so much pain. But nevertheless, it also holds so much beauty. This earth is a very romantic place. We have the ability to make it even more romantic with our songs, words, art, kindness, love and smiles. Romance is one of the most euphoric feelings we get to experience. We should embrace and protect that feeling for our own sake. I don’t claim to know how it would feel like to be around in 300 BCE or whatever. But I’m pretty sure humans feel lonelier than ever. Even though living spaces are more dense than ever. It’s just not natural. We’re surrendered by creatures just like us, but we feel so distant to each other. I feel like this is clearly imposed on us. Just so they can enjoy it. Just so they can feel important.
